European Human Resources Summit 2012 – November 5/6, Berlin
Human resources professionals from 23 countries across Europe gathered in Berlin over two days to discuss the issues that affect their profession and take advantage of the numerous networking possibilities, such as speed networking and a bus tour, to expand their professional networks.
The popular European Wall of Ideas, which was added to throughout the event, allowed participants and speakers to share their ideas and experiences from operating within their region, helping to create a melting pot of thoughts and strategies when presented back at the end of the Summit.
The highlight of the Summit was the gala dinner on the Thursday evening, held at the Hilton Hotel, which featured a dinner speech by Wim Veen from Delft University of Technology. Professor Veen’s presentation, on the subject of ‘Homo Zappiens’, provided a lot of food for thought for discussion among those in attendance over the course of a a truly enjoyable night.
